The Mix-BOT Pro League Invite tournament returns with a second season, once again doling out $3,000 for Asia's best teams. The first season of the Mix-BOT Pro League was announced back in early September and promised $3,000 for Asia's best CS:GO teams. Idea Field Ltd, the Hong Kong-based company behind the online tournament, have now announced the second season of the league which will once again hand out $3,000 to 16 teams from 11 countries in Asia. The first season was ultimately won by nxl of Indonesia, some of whose members are currently in Belgrade, Serbia after competing for the national team, and saw the team triumph over the aptly named TheMongolz of Mongolia.
The MBPL Season 2 is slated to run from October 16-November 8 with games taking place each weekend and starting around 13:30 each day. The format will see a GSL-style group stage of four groups with four teams each, and feature best-of-one matches in groups and best-of-three playoffs. The official team list for the MBPL Season 2 is:
